Historical Society hosts fundraiser breakfast on May 4
On Saturday, May 4, from 8 am to 10 am the Manitowoc County Historical Society will host their 18th Annual Homegrown Heritage Breakfast at the museum and village, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc. Guests will discover the variety of quality foods produced in Manitowoc County and celebrate our strong agricultural heritage. Funds raised at the event will help the Manitowoc County Historical Society in their efforts to preserve and promote local history. The breakfast will be prepared

World War I comes to the Manitowoc County Historical Society
U.S. Doughboy reenactor demonstrates throwing a grenade World War I camp Explore the Great War and its effect on Manitowoc County June 1-2, 2024 from 10am until 4pm. Visit the camps of American, British, German, Russian, and Ottoman nations and learn about their role in the war. Historical Society holds Civil War Muster, Library Card Free Day on May 11 The Manitowoc County Historical Society will hold a Civil War Muster on Saturday, May 11 from 10 am to 4 pm at it's museum and Pinecrest Village, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc. Guests will be able to join Infantry, Cavalry, and Artillery living history units, as they prepare and train. Spring muster activities include practice firing, military maneuvers, and comradery. Historical Society to hold Library Card Free Day on May 11 The Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, will hold its annual Library card free day in conjunction with the Manitowoc-Calumet Library system on Saturday, May 11 from 10 am to 4 pm.
